If you are wary of putting anything synthetic into your skin, this is usually the treatment we point you toward. Platelet rich plasma and platelet rich fibrin treatments use a small sample of your own blood, concentrated to isolate the growth factors your body already uses to heal. Applied during microneedling or injected directly, those growth factors accelerate collagen production and improve skin tone, texture, and thickness. Because the material comes from you, there is no risk of allergic reaction and nothing foreign is introduced.
How the Treatment Works
We begin with a simple blood draw. The sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet rich layer from the rest of the blood. That concentrate is then applied to the skin during microneedling, allowing it to absorb through the micro channels, or injected into specific areas of concern.
PRP Versus PRF
PRP is processed at a higher speed and yields a liquid concentrate that spreads easily and works well with microneedling. PRF is spun more gently and without additives, producing a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors more slowly over several days. Your provider will recommend the better option based on your treatment area and goals.

When We Would Suggest Something Else
PRP works slowly and cumulatively. If you need a visible change quickly, or your primary concern is pigment or deep static lines, we will recommend a different route. Certain blood conditions, active infection, and some medications make you unsuitable for treatment, so your provider will review your medical history before proceeding.
Before and After Your Appointment
Arrive well hydrated, since it makes the blood draw quicker and more comfortable, and eat beforehand. Avoid anti inflammatory medications for several days before and after where medically appropriate, as they can blunt the healing response we are trying to trigger. When combined with microneedling, expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for twenty four to forty eight hours. Skip active skincare, makeup, and sun exposure for the first day or two.

Most clients then return once or twice a year. A fifty dollar appointment reservation fee is assessed at the time of booking and will be deducted from the services provided as defined in our policies.
